Our Sunday Services each week
We run a variety of services each Sunday, you are welcome to any, or all of them!
9:30am – Morning Worship with Creche and Sunday School for children
11:15am – Morning Worship or Morning Prayer with choir
6:30pm – Evening Worship with Inters group
8am Communion service – On the fourth Sunday of the month (check the Noticesheet for dates) – this is a said service and based on the traditional Prayer Book. A quiet service with time to contemplate and celebrate the Lord’s Supper, the service lasts around 50 minutes.
9:30am service is our main morning service. Relatively contemporary in character, led by a music group with a range of traditional and modern music. It is well attended by all age-groups. Children are included at the beginning of the service, before leaving for their own activities in the Upper Room nearby. There is always plenty of supervision and someone will be only too pleased to show you where to take children.
Once a month, the service also includes Holy Communion, and during holidays when the children’s groups are not being run, there are regular ‘All Age’ services. This is the service in which we usually hold Baptisms and Thanksgivings.
After the 9:30am service, refreshments are normally served in the church before the 11:15am service begins. This is a great time to catch up with people or get to know new ones – the tea and coffee is good too!
11.15am This service is more traditional service, with a choir helping lead, and fewer children, although we are always happy to see familes at this service too.
6.30pm is a more contemporary, informal service and is a great opportunity to sing, pray and learn from God’s word. The service is normally finished by 8pm when tea and coffee is served, encouraging everyone to stay a while and chat. Communion is also included in this service once a month.
