The churches at St Mary's and St Cuthbert's provide a range of activities aimed at encouraging the women in our churches. As we are coming out of lockdown and restrictions are lifting we are able to organise more events, whilst still being mindful of the regulations and sensitive to people's needs.
In the near future we have the following events:
Saturday 12th June @ 9am - Ladies Social online. (It is hoped that this will be out last Zoom event !) We will be sharing stories and thoughts about the positives that have come out of lockdown. Thursday 24th June @ 8pm we will be holding a Ladies coffee, cake and chat in the Upper Room. Please sign up on ChurchSuite or contact the office to book a place. A nominal charge of £1 is payable on the night.
Saturday 10th July @ 8.30am we will be holding our first Ladies Breakfast. It will be in the Upper Room Cafe and again, please sign up on ChurchSuite or call the office. There is a charge of £3, payable on sign up or on the day. It will be a light breakfast of yoghurt, fruit, pastries and tea/coffee.
Our lovely Cafe Crafters, run by Sue has restarted in the Upper Room Cafe, alternate Fridays @ 10am - Noon. Everyone is welcome. The group have learnt many new skills over the years but currently are working on their own projects until restrictions are lifted.
Knit & kNatter are currently meeting in the Upper Room Cafe - 1pm every alternate Friday. Please do come along and join in - just bring your knitting and have a good knatter.
Our regular Thursday morning ladies bible study along with our regular toddler groups are in the process of being proposed to reopen however restrictions are making this very difficult. Please bear with us and we will keep information updated in our noticesheet.
