We are still seeking an enthusiastic, experienced youth worker with a passion to share the good news of Jesus.
This exciting and unique opportunity will offer a full-time role shared between the two charitable Trusts with the opportunity to both disciple young people already part of church groups and reach out to those who don’t yet know God.
60% of the role will be at St Mary’s church Cheadle which has a large structure of volunteer youth work and you will be working as part of a large staff team working in all the ministries across the parish.
40% will be in Heald Green, where the mainly detached work is carried out through the Talk About God activities on behalf of CTHGYI.
The remuneration package will range between £18,117 - £24,636 PA, depending on qualifications and experience, plus pension (based on equivalent JNC Grade: Youth and Community Worker).
For more information, job description and fact sheets, either download them below or contact Jon Drayton.
To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter explaining why you believe you would be good in the role to:

Closing date for applications is 9.00am 16th August 2021
When pandemic restrictions allow, The Upper Room Cafe operates as a comunity cafe from our meeting rooms, The Upper Room, in the centre of Cheadle.
We are always keen to welcome enthusiastic new members to the volunteer team.
There are many different roles to suit all personalities, whether working at the front of house greeting and serving our customers or in the kitchen preparing our delicious food or operating the modern high tech dishwasher.
Whether you can help out on a regular basis or only occasionally, you would be warmly welcomed.
