THE 9.30 MUSIC GROUPS
There are four different teams of musicians who lead the music at 9.30am, with a variety of instruments and supported by singers. Music styles are varied, providing a balance across all our ages, including children’s songs, contemporary songs and traditional hymns. There is usually a short rehearsal from 9.00am before the service.
THE 6.30 MUSIC GROUPS
There are four different teams of musicians who lead the music at 6.30pm, with a variety of instruments and supported by singers. Music styles also vary widely, with a slight biass towards more contemporary songs, but still includes traditional hymns. There is usually a rehearsal from 5.45pm before the service.
THE CHURCH CHOIR
They lead the 11.15am service, predominantly with traditional hymns and chanted psalms. They rehearse as and when necessary on Monday nights in church.
THE FESTIVAL CHOIR
They form regularly to lead special events (Harvest, Christmas, Easter), and rehearse for the few weeks beforehand. They are always open to new members, and sing a variety of select choir pieces. Rehearsals tend to be on Monday nights.
