Chelwood Foodbank

We support Chelwood Foodbank as a church, we have collection points in the Upper Room Cafe and the Church.  We are primarily asked to supply tinned meat but any other items are greatly received.  

The items currently urgently needed are:  

Tinned Sweetcorn, Tinned Meat (ham, pork, chicken…), Tinned Fruit (peaches, fruit cocktail…) Tinned Tomatoes, Cordial, Jars of Coffee, Pasta Sauce, Crisps and snacks,   Nappies size 6 and size 7, Deodorant, Toothbrushes, Mouthwash, Big bin liners, Laundry Powders, Spray cleaner, Long Life milk.

At this current time with the energy price increases more people than ever are using the foodbanks and our support is needed to help members of our community.

On their Facebook page you can also click the button 'Shop on website' and this will take you to their  Amazon wishlist so that you can donate that way.

It would lovely if we can hold out a helping hand to those in our community who are in need and facing the awful choice of heat or food.  

If you would like to take items directly to the foodbank at Chelwood Baptist Church, Adswood Road, Cheadle Hulme  SK8 5QA (From Cheadle just before the tip on the right hand side).  Their opening times are:

Tuesday & Wednesday 10am - 12noon
